Glenn Dobbs - Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Dobbs has broad experience covering more than 40 years in international finance, investment banking, natural resource financing, politics and consulting, and as a business consultant. He has been a member of the Board of the Northwest Mining Association (NWMA), and was the founder of the Alpha Commodities Fund, founder and Board Chairman of First American Bank, Dallas regional manager for Monex International, founder of the InterGold Fund, and a former member of the Washington State House of Representatives. Mr. Dobbs has written and lectured extensively on precious metals sector investing, resource development and financing, and provided consulting and financial management services to the mining industry for more than 30 years.
Douglas D. Dobbs - President, Corporate Secretary
Mr. Dobbs brings more than 25 years of business experience including project and corporate analysis for mining projects, financial management and investment banking. Since joining the Company in 2002, Mr. Dobbs has been involved in operational and strategic planning, as well as financing and management activities. Mr. Dobbs was a portfolio manager and investment advisor, and has worked with companies including Piper Jaffray Corp. and Dobbs Financial Services, which he founded in 1996. In addition, Mr. Dobbs was responsible for strategic planning, as well as market and corporate development activities with a subsidiary of Avista Corp. (NYSE: AVA), who were involved in the development of hydrogen powered fuel cell technology. Mr. Dobbs holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Hillsdale College in Michigan and serves on the board of other mineral companies.
Nicole Altenburg - Principal Financial Officer, Controller
Ms. Altenburg has served as the Company’s Controller since she joined the Company on May 7, 2007, and she was appointed as Principal Financial Officer in March, 2013. She is responsible for oversight of financial and accounting activities, as well as filings with the securities regulatory agencies in both the United States and Canada. Ms. Altenburg has previously practiced as a certified public accountant, and she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Montana.
Denver Winslow - P. Eng.
Mr. Winslow is a mining engineer with more than 20 years of experience in a large number of engineering and operational roles. He joined Mines Management in 2007 and has managed engineering and mine site activities as well as provided technical support for the permitting process. Prior to joining Mines Management, he held positions in both underground and surface mining projects with J.R. Simplot, Barrick Gold, Kennecott, Phelps Dodge, and Asarco. Mr. Winslow holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from Montana Tech.
Rod MacLeod - P. Geo.
Rod MacLeod is an economic geologist with over 30 years of experience in precious and base metals exploration and production. He has been chief geologist since 2007. Prior to joining Mines Management, Mr. MacLeod held staff and senior level positions with Phelps Dodge, Dakota Mining, Newmont Exploration, and Lacana Gold. In addition, he worked as an independent consultant on exploration and mining projects located in China, Nevada, South Dakota and Wyoming. His background includes a variety of assignments in early stage exploration leading to deposit discovery, geologic support for permitting, mine construction and operations, resource modeling, and resource/reserve expansion and replacement. Mr. MacLeod is a certified professional geologist (WY). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Minnesota, Duluth and Master of Science degree in Geology from South Dakota School of Mines.
